Hello to my Brothers and Sisters,
I hope the new year has started off on a pleasant note for everyone. Life has been good on Pensacola Beach(that's where I live)... but when is life NOT good on the beach ?! I am a 13 yr line vet and am still living the "american dream". I started as a vollie and have since become a career F/F. I am also a second generation F/F. Dad retired from the biz a Chief and Mom's still a practicing RN. I guess you could say I've been groomed for this business. Anyway, I hope to talk to you all soon.

Welcome to the forums Lt. Hope you will find them very interesting. I know I do. I am a career industrial FF with Kodak Fire Dept. here in Rochester NY. Been a vollie on and off (while kids were small) since 1977. My Dad was a 45 year member of a vol FD and my mother was a vollie in the late 50's and 60's. Both Mom's and Dad's fathers were vollie's. I tell people my blood is fire engine red. Anyway again welcome to the forums and hope to hear more from the "Beach"! Safe and Happy New Year!! Roger

Hi, Welcome.
Sounds like life is gooooood.
Good luck to you.
Sounds like you were we'll raised.
I'm from where it's cold. Not where the polar bear's roam. But it's cold.
Take care and take a surf for me.
