I'm a new member to the forum page but an old fan of Firhouse. I'm currently working for a county EMS system that is housed with the city fire dept, we are in the process of starting a fire/ems explorer post with advisors from both depts and the Insitution head will be from the fire dept. He is a new chief who is very aggressive and willing to try new things. The commeittee members will be myself and one other person from the fire dept. We will also concentrate on emergency management. My question is has anyone else out there in the public safety arena every tried a joint post like this? I'm trying to cover all the bases on possible problems, concerns, terriortial issues, money and etc.
