AS A VOLENTEER ON CALL 24 HOURS A DAY I WONDERED IF THE PAY RATE WAS ANY BETTER IN THE U.S.A ????
THE ONLY THING THAT I WOULD GRIPE ABOUT IS WHY WE AS VOLENTEERS HAVE TO BEG GOV. INTITUTIONS FOR FUNDING TO REPLACE OLD EQUIPMENT.!!!!

Well the only thing I can say about that here in the Good Ole U.S. od A. is that we have begged like all the rest. Now thanks to a couple of politicians and some act of god the FIRE ACT is on its way to being passed by President Clinton. This will finally give the American Fire Service money that it has been waiting long for.
So keep up the good work with what you have, and not until it happens to the wrong person will something get done.
