Thread: Rank Structure

I am curious to how the rank structure works. Is it anything like the military. If you attend college do you come in as a Lt. or as a junior fireman. Thanks for your help.

Regardless of education, you usually start in the fire service at the bottom and work your way up through the ranks.

I concur with JKormann! The good thing about having that college education is that with time and when promotions come around you can use your college education to help you with getting the promotion. Keep up the hard work and it will pay off in the end.

I agree with everyone else. You have to start at the bottom and work your way up. The only way college helps you is if you are going for a full time position it will give you more points.
