Default Survey- Does your FD cover your Health Care Benefits upon normal retirement?

Conducting a survey to see how many Fire Departments make provisions for Health Care benefits for employees who leave the service with normal retirement. Would like to hear from everyone.
In addition please read petition here: http://www.petitiononline.com/jmkdpk/petition.html Te petition is in support of legislation that would enable Health Care for all retired Public Safety Workers.
    Thanks.

Virginia Beach Fire Dept....Yes, they cover the employee share if retired after 25 years of service, any city employee. If on the job injury retirement, no employment time limit...you are covered for lifetime, employee share.
