New to the Forum

Hello everyone!!! I just registered here today and thought I would pop in and introduce myself. <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> I'm a 25 year old 911 dispatcher from Georgia who dispatches mainly for Fire and EMS (mainly for EMS now, but Fire was the very 1st console I ever learned, so I have a soft spot for Fire). I have been with the 911 center for a year now and am still loving every minute of it!!! <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

I am also registered at 2 other forums...*********.com (where I am a moderator for 4 different forums including Medics/EMTs, Dispatch, Firefighters, and Females in Emergency Work) and Officer.com. I love to get information from all over the place...so the more forums to participate in the better!!! <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

I have a Bachelors Degree in Legal Assistant Studies (which, obviously, I am not currently utilizing, but that's okay b/c dispatching pays more than kissing Lawyer butt in these parts...*lol*) from Valdosta State University.

I'm excited to have found this forum and hope to be around here for a long time!!! <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Newbie too DISTPATCHER...Just joined today and just as you I am looking forward to checking in on some of the interesting topics here for discussion or even just reviewing replies. A great place to live and learn while not in the field doing the same.
