Angry bad radio systems

Hi, I live in southern rennseler county in New York. We just got a new radio systems, the plan to get these things to work write it called for 10 radio towers, in stead the put 1n 3. With so little towers it cause dead spots. I’ve been in a burning biding before where I needed water and could not get. Some time you can be in line of site with other fire fighters and not be able to talk to them over the radios! What do you think of this ****y system?

You are not the only one with this problem. If enough repeaters are no set up you will have a lot of dead spots. This is increased when you go into a large building. We have the same problem but we are getting 800mhz radios so they are not going to fix our present problem. What mhz does your F.D. use?

800mhz you will be all right if you follow the direcrtions right and put in the right amount of towers.
