    Post Photo

Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase a print (a large one) of a photo I've only seen once. It is a picture of the world trade center (pre-collapse) in the background and in the foreground, at the bottom a lone FDNY engine company crossing one of the big bridges. It is a truely awesome picture and I'd love to get a copy of it.

Hi, I believe the pic you saw was of the ladder co from engine 24 in Brooklyn. Sorry don't know the ladder co number. (possibly #72) I saw the photo which I think was taken by a member of the public as the co. crossed the bridge heading towards the WTC. I saw the pic on a programme about the Firehouse on TV over here last month. Possibly you could contact them & they may be able to help. If I still have the video I will check & get back to you.

It is a very moving photo, which thet other F/F's called "their last run".

I believe it was Ladder 18 and it was on the cover of the New York Daily News. Maybe you could check out their website.

    Cool

I was checking out the web site for the NY daily news. I think I found the article, but I couldn't find the photo in question. I would've dug deeper, but of course they want to charge you for that. Anyway, I guess if you want to pay, you can find it on the site. Just search for "their last run" like martinm said. Good luck.

Hi again. You probably already know, but it was on the news over here the other day, so I though I would pass on the news. Ladder 118 from Engine 205 in Brooklyn.

Another crew returns to quarters for the last time.

    Rest in Peace.

while we're on this, does anyone know where I could find some of the pictures snapped by people in the building going down the stairs, as the firefighters were going up????
