Airport Security?!?!?

Wasn't sure where to post this one, but, I was wondering what everyone thought about the current status of Airport Security. Do you think they have gon way too far, or do you think their not doing enough? Do you think shuting down an entire International Airport is necessary?

I wanted to get some (Non-Media) thoughts.

I rarely fly so it really won't effect me, but I think spending some added time in line at the airport while your looked over from head to shoe is worth the wait. The events of the last week give me an indication that enough isn't being done to ensure the safety of the flying public.

Put the cops on the planes not at the terminal would be a good start. Who cares if they take a nail clipper, knife or box cutter on board. Gun wins.

I think they could go farther with security. I flew from WI to AZ last weekend. I did not think that there was much more security that before Sept 11. The only differnce was some soldiers walking around.
