Does anyone else's city or township sponsor a county-wide fire school? If so, what do Explorers do there?

Our County (Genesee Cty., MI) has a county-wide Fire Academy which is run every year. It is a state certification class for FFI & FFII. Explorers may take the academy if their department sponsors them and they receive the same state FFI & FFII certification as any firefighter.

You got it all wrong. I mean is there a fire school where all the cities and townships in that county gather in one place and run drills or classrooms together. I'm not talking about a state certification class.

Our county is quite large so we do not have a certain area we we all join together to drill or meet. Occaisionally we have a combined dept drill (2-3 depts), or a seminar in which the whole county can come to, and those are usually located at either a large school or even a church.
