    Question What is Explorers?

What are they and what do they do in the fire service? How do you join or become an explorer?

Explorers are pretty much the same as Jr. Firefighters, except they are usually run by the BSA. Answer your question?

Explorers are basically the same as Juniors, except BSA controls the policies, and explorers are covered under BSA Insurance, while Juniors are covered by the respective fire depts. insurance. www.learning-for-life.org is the main page for exploring. There are certain rules that explorers must follow (see webpage) that some juniors dont have due to their dept regulations.

Hope that gave you a good idea. Any other questions feel free to email me at nsfd321@hotmail.com
