I am doing a term paper for my Fire Officer class. It is on "The Conflicts of Tradition in the Fire Service, what is a paradigm anyhow." If anybody has some leads on this,it would be appreciated. Thanks

A paradigm is the way we were taught to look at something. A Swiss watch maker invented the LCD watch but it took the Japanese to market it. The Swiss watch dealers paradigm was watches have hands. Joel Barker has a book out detailing the theory of paradigms.
