    Post 2001 IAAI Annual Conference

The 2001 IAAI Annual Conference will be held May 21-25, 2001 at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ.

The Program Committee for the IAAI 2001 AGM received over 50 proposals for programs in response to our Call for Papers. Thanks to all who submitted papers. Those presenters who have been accepted will receive a letter within 10 days explaining the next step.

We are very excited that we will be offering over 60 total educational choices for persons attending this year’s program. These programs will span the entire spectrum of interests in the field of Fire Investigation. Here is a sampling of the topics.

More programs will be added as the May approaches. As you can see, this year’s program is a radical departure from past AGM’s. We are striving to provide a seminar that will provide all attendees with the maximum opportunity for the professional development. We trust that you will come away from this year’s AGM with a new outlook on this profession and a sense that the IAAI is committed to “raising the bar” in terms of bringing the field of fire investigation onto the same plane as other aspects of forensic investigation and science.

The Website for AGM 2001 will be up soon. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me or call me at the office at 973-285-6299.
