    Default Santa Rosa Nozzles

We were recently given some Santa Rosa fog nozzles. They have a 2.5" intake and are labled 'Sanra Rosa B-5 2 1/2', anyone have any idea what the rated flow is?

Big old silver things with a ruber bumper on the end? If memory serves me correctly. Those were made by an old division of AM Lafrance. They have since gone under. To figure it out. Open the nozzle and look at the gap between the valve seat and the center piece. Measure it. Now measure the circumference around that gap. Multiply the two. That will give you the area that the water comes out of. You can then look it up on a hydraulic chart to see what to pump it at.
