Live Burn Facilities

My fire dept. is in the first stages of building a burn building. I would appreciate input on what type of buildings are the best and why(concrete, concrete block, steel shipping containers)? Thank you in advance.

I am from Caldwell Fire Dept. In Idaho....we are currently using the states Flashover simulator...it is housed in a steel shipping container...it works excellent as a training tool, you get to watch the fire develop through all the stages of fire up to the flashover point. Gives your firefighters a chance to really see what occurs as far as pyrolisis goes, if you would like more information on it feel free to email me.
