We are a small rural vol. dept.Some of our businesses do allow community service time but do not pay their employee's for time at alarms. Our volunteers can't afford to take time off for alarms and not be paid so my question is what is the legality of a Fire District or a Fire Department reimbursing our employers for the time their employees are off at alarms.
