About LinkBacksI have a friend who will be retiring from the USMC at 39 yrs old. He wants to move back to the Iowa/Nebraska/S Dakota area and is interested in the fire service. Do depts out that way have max hiring ages? Is it a state or individual dept requirement? Does he have a chance?

For us, a person can attain partial pension at 12 years of service. Full pension at 20 years of service and age 50. Mandatory retirement age is 65.
Keep it safe. It is better to talk to you than to talk about you.
