There are not too many sites out for firefighters, but if you do internet searches for PTSD you can find a lot of good information on sites created by policemen. If you think you may have PTSD or are desiring to learn more, check out these sites. Do not let yourself go untreated, this will not go away and the longer you let it remain untreated, the stronger a hold it will have on you. It is OK for firefighters to ask for help!!!! Until we learn to accept that fact too many will allow PTSD and stress to burn them out and destroy their lives. If you do recognize the symptoms of PTSD in yourself or a friend, do not give up. You are not alone, no matter how lonely you feel. Do not give up.
