Anyone have info on grants for thermal imagers?

Wish I could help you with info on grants for the fire service. The FIRE Bill will be very helpful- if we can get it passed in one form or another. Some residents in my city began a fundraiser for a TIC for our department, only after a 3 year old died in a house fire did the city council decide to pitch in with some $$. Our union local, which only consists of 20 members, kicked off the fundraiser with a $3000.00 check.
Our city is in the process of hiring a grant writer or so I was told. Sounds like a good idea to me.
