During a foot chase the perpetrator entered a dense wooded area. The police set up a perimeter to prevent the person from getting away. An officer from a neighboring town had a night vision binoculars. They were unable to spot the person. So, one of the police officers happen to be the Deputy Chief of the local fire department responded to the station to get their TIC. Returning to the scene of where the police had the perimeter set up he the spotted the person hidding by laying down behind a group of bushes. The TIC outlined him and officers started to move in following the instructions of the officer with the TIC. The best thing was that the officers moving in on the perpetrator had a significantly different heat pattern for the bullet proof vest they were wearing. And the officers with trauma plate inserted were even more difined for the vest and trauma plated reduced the heat pattern.

I KNOW YOU LIKE DETAILS, BUT I DON'T KNOW THE MAKE OR MODEL OF THE TIC USED, SORRY.
