Any one out there seen the new Bullard T3 TIC? Other than the pictures in Firehouse and Fire Engineering. Our local dealer hasn't seen one yet but was told it has a 3" screen instead of 4'. It is approximately the size of a hand from the pictures. Anyone know more about it? Price is $9,800. How about you, Mike? Can you add to this?

Sharp looking, need a company to test it and show how durable it is for a substantial discount?
The above is MY OPINION only and not that of anyone else. I am not representing any organization in making a post here!!!!

Looks good. Does it pass a third party testing (like the one the Navy did a few years ago)? Does it come in any other color than blue (a red, yellow or other FD color)? Also do you need a department to do some testing with it?

Mike-- Does it have transmit capability? Couldn't find tech specs on the web site. Just a picture with limited info.

Looks good! I do have a couple of questions. What will the published drop height be, can it be submerged, and did you increase the Hz rate from 20?

Hello All,
Transmitter Option:
Housed in a handle that can be connected to the unit in the field without tools.
4 channel operation compatible with existing 4 channel Bullard systems.
Drop Test:
6 feet, 3 axis, 3 times
Water:
IP 67 or better.
Changing the battery does not compromise water integrity.
Update Rate:
20 Hz.
You have to give up something to get the reductions in size, weight, and cost.
Of course the image is more than adequate for firefighting, wouldn't want to make movies with it, but if you want the top image quality stick to the larger 320x240 FPAs.
See everyone in New Orleans,
