    Default help with researching cameras

    Gentleman,
I am a civilian, and I have been asked by a Fire Fighter friend in Asia to research about thermal imaging cameras. They have none, and are thinking about purchasing some. First, do you prefer hand held or hands free? Also, who do you think makes the bests thermal camera and what is the model.
    P.S.
This is more or less a 3rd world country and they do not have alot of money for the fancy stuff. More concerned with economical and well built. Does not have to have all the bells and whistles

    Thanks,
    David (referred by Houston F.D.)

Back up to the page with the topics on it, up top there is a pull down that says "Show Topics From Last 45 Days" Change this to 1 year or all topics and you will find a ton of stuff....
The above is MY OPINION only and not that of anyone else. I am not representing any organization in making a post here!!!!

Bear in mind that most of the TIC's available in the US will not be exportable to the majority of 'third world countries'. Ideally a non-solid state camera would be OK.
