Need info re:dispinary action and
accidents involing appartus

My department mandates an automatic suspension of driving privileges pending investigation from the Chief's office. If found at fault, punishment can vary between a slap on the wrist to revocation of all driving privileges, usual is 30 day driving supension. Of course if not found at fault, then privileges are automatically restored. We haven't had many accidents in my department, but I have seen only one revocation of privileges, and two revocations of privileges on a certain vehicle type. Only one of these members is till in the department.
