does anyone have any information on how or if federal military time can be transfered to a public fire department?, i know in ohio if you are in the national guard you can transfer your service time to get you additional benefit time.....we cant finds anything for federal time...i was in the navy and need to know.

Over here in Boardman Township, also in Ohio (up by Youngstown) we get credit for military time and previous public service time. We have guys who count 6 months of CETA time toward their vacation picks. Military reservists count their 6 months of time. I don't know for sure how it works, but if it wasn't owed to us our administration wouldn't give it to us.
