Do any of your unions have "groundrules" for both sides while negotiations are ongoing? Esp. not talking to the press etc... Thanks for any info

Yes, we always establish groundrules at the first meeting. Typically, they are: 1. no leaking negotiations to anyone, press included. 2. no use of recording devices in negotiation sessions. 3. no new issues brought to the table after the 3rd negotiation meeting. 4. Limitation of the number of negotiators for each side. 5. Official spokesperson for each side.
