We pay 13.50 per pay. That covers the percap, coffee fund, cable tv, news paper. We are a 26 man local. I feel that it is money well spent.

Our local has a few projects that we run to make money. So far we have not had problems wih money. We always send members to the Leg. Conferance and National Convention. If we had to depend on our percap we would have been out of money long ago.

Local 1312 pays $9.30 per week. Originally passed on a percentage of Top Step Firefighter. Has not been raised in a couple of years because budget needs have been met so far

I wish our dues were as low as some of the replies i've read. Here in Las Vegas, working for the Clark County Fire Department, we pay $70.22 a month.

We pay 1% of top-step firefighter pay, $215.72 per month. We have a very strong union and are very politically active. We're well paid, so I think we're getting our money's worth.

I guess the $ 8 per week isnt bad then

The each station has its own dues for house fund stuff, like condiments, coffee, and cable (hbo, cinemax etc.) which averages around 6 to 8 dollars a month.

Our local pays $21.66 a month in dues. Part of which goes to the Texas State Association of Fire Fighters dues. We have 37 members. We do not have 100% of our departments' fire fighters as members in our local. I think we could be stronger and more vocal with 100% membership in our local.
