Carry Extra Insurance?

Does anyone carry extra insurance in case of an accident in which you may be sued? I am about to make Operator(engineer) and have heard that extra insurance may be a good idea. Who sells such coverage and is it expensive? Thanks.

My philosophy has always been, the more you have, the more they want to sue you. Therefore, if you have 1 mil in liability coverage, they'll sue you for 1 mil; if you have 5 mil, they'll sue for 5 mil.

Suing a fireman is not a lucrative idea, suing the city or county, or the Doctor with a lot of money will net a lot more.
