I just wanted to get a little bit of recognition for one of my Brothers, Firefighter Paul Lefevre, who recently retired after 33 years with the Department.
Paul's asignement was on Group 1, Rescue 1. He was also one of our computer systems people and a member of the Department's Fire Cause and Origin team. Paul also served as the president of the Marlborough Firefighter's Relief Association for many years.
We held a small get together with the members of the group and the retireees from Group One on Tuesday evening...Paul's last official night on duty. We assigned him to housewatch duty...he wasn't happy about it, but we wanted to make sure that he was able to retire safely.
Paul...you know the coffee's always on...good luck in your retirement and future endeavors!
