I am currently looking for language on minimum levels of service for both fire and EMS services within a multi-department district or County goverment. Before NFPA 1710, did your fire district or County goverment have a minimum level of service? If so, was it spelled out in on the County charter, fire district charter or some other legislative document? It should have a minimum service standard to be in the fire/ems service. That is the docutment that I need. My Local (2928)1000+ members is currently studying the minimum level of service standards for consolidation purposes.
