    Default Promotional Exams Pass mark

    Our department is currently trying to implement a 75% passing mark for written promotional exams.
    The current passing mark is 60%.
    I am looking for some input from other departments as to what they currently have as a passing mark for WRITTEN promotional exams.

    I've seen both 75% and 80% on different tests that I have taken. You want someone that knows there information and can explain it well. All the tests that I have taken I have had to pass all the portions of the test.

    We all know that almost any testing process doesn't bring the best candidate to the top. Everyone has bead test days.

    Anyways what do yo call a Captain that passes the test with a 60.5% ----Captain.
