Do you go all out for a judging parade?
For big parades like Firemen conventions, anniversary parades etc...How much do you clean your apparatus? I know in my town for the Nj state firemens convention we strip our truck down all the tools and ladders off and clean them real good...Then we wax the truck. and the truck is spotless but its ALOT of work. I was just wondering what other Depts do for parades and stuff.

ENGINE58...Andrew....Being one of your biggest rivals/State Champions '95, '96, '97 and 1998 We at Stratford, NJ know and will have to agree with you it is Hard Work and Long Hours before convention time ...We have started already and the work is brutal !! We go right down to the wheel lug nuts on a truck and polish everything---Yes the Polishing, Stripping, Painting, repairing, and General Up-Keep is a pain---We'll be there again this year in full force looking to regain our title from Burlington City...Wish all you guys from South Amboy the best of Luck...Look for the Beech Ball at Convention Hall !!!
