I am no longer a probie! I was voted in last night! I still have not passed the agility test which will allow me to do interior firefighting, go on strike teams, or be an officer, but hey, as a member of the overweight and over 40 club, I'm pretty pleased. I've also dropped 20 lbs. since I startaed as a volunteer--- a little more hose rolling and hose testing and I'll only be over 40!

Congratulations, one thing you might regret is not getting involved sooner. Don't ever let that get you down, use it as motivation to train more and learn more.
Take care and stay safe.
