mff,
If you are willing to donate the SCBA then you can go to www.helpingourown.org . They can get the SCBA to a needy dept. or can set you up to donate straight to a squad that could use them. Hope this is an idea. There are LOTS of needy depts that can't afford even decent apparatus.
