It is with deepest sorrow that I announce the passing on of veteran N.J. Fireman Henry "Pike" Piekarski of the Garwood Vol. Fire Dept., Liberty Hose Company #1. Mr. Piekarski, aka "Pike", served up to and through the rank of Fire Chief. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and members of the GFD. Pike will be missed by all of those that knew him.
