    Default Budwieser commercial

Did anyone see the Budwieser commercial with the clydales on the superbowl? I thought it was very well done, one of the best commercials I have seen, and a great tribute.

Man, I had a house full of people here to watch the game..and when I saw that commercial I had to go act like I was going to get another Bud just so they wouldn't see the tears streaming down my face.

Right at the end of the commercial, a silence fell over those of us in the day room watching the game... a very fitting tribute, very well done. My helmet's off to the brilliant mind that thought that one up!

Yeah, I had shivers running down my back. It was a great commercial. And what about Rudy's little speech early on sponsored by Monster.com? I had a lump in my throat watching that one, too.

You could of heard a pin drop at the party we were at. 30 people just stopped, and turned to look at me, as I was the only FF. It was very moving and a wonderful way to honor the 343 and the rest of the lost.

Total shock and surprise. I thought by now I wouldn't be able to shed another tear. Thankyou BUD, for making me feel human once again. Personally, thankyou all for reminding me, it was not in vain!

I went to budweiser.com and tried to download the commercials but all I got was the sound. Anyone else having this problem?? Or should I email the webmaster about a dead link?

    Thumbs up Budweiser Commercial....Awesome!

If that one doesn't move you, you've got problems. Gives me chills each time I look at it.

By the way....I was able to get it to work on the budweiser website. I just wish there was a way I could save it on my computer.

I downloaded it with realplayer, but it
wasn't very good quality, it wasn't
smooth and the video kept jumping, but
I saw what it was about. Very well done.
Does anybody know, if that was the only
time it was going to be on TV or is
a ongoing commercial, I would love to see
    it.

Yeah, I thought the commercial was great and respectful even put lump in my throat. But this morning on the news they were reporting that there were hundreds of complaints stating it was in poor taste. I just Don't see it.

Oh well, as the saying goes, you can't please everyone all the time.

I'm in agreement with the other posts on this thread - a very moving tribute - gave me chills, lump-in-the-throat, and welling up with tears - our family room went silent, as well. Good job Budweiser!

If you go to www.budweiser.com they have a poll where you can vote on your fav Bud commercial that aired yesterday. When I was there this AM "Respect" was ahead by a landslide.

I think those that didnt like it are definitely in the minority.

Totally caught me off gaurd. I was heavy in conversation with my partners at the FS and all of a sudden this commercial came on, I had to leave the room to hide my tears, very very moving.

It brought tears to my eyes. It was a great tribute and beautifully done. It's bringing the tears back just writing about it. There is another post on the forums with the Budwiser contact link on it and I have used it to write and ask them if they would make the final picture wallpaper for a PC, or a poster or something that we can have it on to preserve it. Others on the post have sent something in as well.

    Thumbs up Got My Vote

I also heard that there was a lot of negative feedback on this commercial and can't understand it. I just gave it my vote over at the Budweiser website, where its blowing away the competitioon in their poll.

It was classy. The party stopped, there was silence as lower Manhattan was shown in the distance. It put a tear in all our eyes. If you weren't touched there's something wrong with you.
I think it was well done.
