Default Aviation Vol Fire Dept in NYC

The Aviation Volunteer Fire Department, Eng. Co. 3, lost its only pumper on September 11th. With all the aid and everything going to FDNY, does anyone know if they are going to help Aviation get a new engine? You would think that with all the apparatus companies that have offered to donate engines, one of them would help out this little vol. department.

you do bring up a very good point. with all the hype and charity given to FDNY(and they do deserve it) the few vollies in the city are forgotten about, even though they responded without hesitation as the paid guys did. have to look into this see what we can find. 2 or 3 or more heads are better than one.

this could be one of those things that could be good to call some people like pierce, E-one, and the others and put it to them as a good way to raise good will and advertising keep up the good work guys
