    Unhappy **Dallas Lodd**

Monday Feb 11, 2002 -- 42-year-old Vincent Davis died of injuries sustained after a wall collapsed on him and another firefighter at the scene of a six alarm apartment fire. The other firefighter is still being treated at a local Dallas Hospital. All of our prayers are with the brothers and sisters of the Dallas Fire Department.

My condolences to the close family, friends and fellow crew members of Firefighter Vincent Davis. Even over the 'Waters' the pain can be felt. I am sure that he will be sadly missed by all that had the pleasure to have known him. He will always be with you in your memories, never let that go. Thinking of you all during this very painful time.

My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

I can think of no better way to die, than in the line of duty, but preferably at a ripe old age, after saving life or property. Few die with the privilage of doing what they love when they die.

    Blessed be.
