    Post New to firehouse, saying hi

    12 Arial purple Hello everyone, Just a note to introduce myself.
    I'm a 32 year old female volunteer firefighter. I live in rural
    Alberta, Canada. We have a small department and do rescue and
    first response since the hospital and police services are some
    distance away. I've been a member for about 18 months now and
    love it. We also do a large number of mutual aid calls a year.
    I'd like to converse with anyone in a related field, especially
    other volunteer, rural Canadians. Stay cool.
    Pleasing everyone is not always an option, knowing you did the very best that you could..is.

    Hiya Fyre Girl, Hows is ya eh? I am from Rural Alberta too. North of Edmonton to be almost exact, how about you?
