does ur dept pay for ur certification classes (emt or ff1) or are u re-imburssed after u finish the class![]()

my dept pays for everything (even EMT, even though we dont run EMS in our dept), except for crazy ones that we dont have need for in town like high-angle rescue as an example

Yes, our dept covers all, or most, training. We do run ALS rescue, so they pay to have members trained as EMTs

Our department pays for all certs and book and things of that nature, the only thing that the department does not pay for is classes to become a paramedic, just to much money!

My department will pay for any and all courses we take, with the stiuplation that we have to pass them. We front the money as a deposit, and then when we get our cards, we're paid back.
