Deleting a post

Web team, how do you delete a post that you have made, I tryed to delete a post I made the other day but I was locked out.

Please let me know.

We don't allow users to delete the first post of a thread, just 'report the post' and we'll look into deleting it.

This is to prevent users from flaming other users and then delete the entire thread, as well as to ensure users dont post legitimate questions, get their answer, and then remove the thread before others have a chance to view as well.

In most cases, if its a simple error in posting, we can remove it very quickly.
