    Default O.B.A. info

I have heard some other posters talk about O.B.A.s or oxygen generating breathing apparatus. I've tried to find more information or pictures of them, but I can't seem to find anything. I was wondering if any of you could tell me alittle more about this piece of firefighter history. Thanks

You can find information on OBA's on some Navy websites.

Try this website. It has a brief description of OBA's and some pictures of the equipment.

    Default OBA's

The one's I used all too many years ago, were also called Chemox. I did a search on that some time ago, and found some information. I think MSA may still have some stuff about them on their website.
