    Default Terc Competitions

    Hi all, we are putting together a rescue competition with TERC, and I
    am curious if any others have put one on with them. Im wondering what
    are some of things that you had problems within the event, how they could be helped. If you would do one again. If there was many spectators. Was insurance a problem with your department? Any pertinent information would be helpful.

    We ran the Mid-Atlantic Regional for 5 years in Portland, PA. It was a great time, made alot of friends, and learned alot. As far as insurance, each team should provide you with a copy of their departments insurance. As far as working w/the TERC people, they were great!!! If you have any specific questions, drop me an e-mail and I'd be happy to answer them. Also after running it for 5 years, I was fortunate enough to become a TERC regional judge. Good luck with your event, and no matter how many teams show up, even if it's only 2, run it any way, because you will get more the next year.
