Firefighter's funeral included fire truck procession

(Foley-AP) -- A procession of 65 fire trucks led yesterday's
funeral for 29-year-old Edna Faye Bishop, a volunteer firefighter
killed on a fire run in Bon Secour.
She is the first Baldwin County firefighter to die in the line
of duty.
Bishop was headed to a grass fire when the fire truck
overturned. The two other Bon Secour firefighters in the truck,
Paul Garner and Johnny Charrier, were injured in last Sunday's
accident.
A gray pumper truck served as a hearse for Bishop on Thursday.
As a bagpiper played "Amazing Grace" and Bishop's fellow
firefighters saluted, her flag-draped coffin was carried past an
honor guard.
About 200 firefighters from throughout the area attended the
service.
Bishop's survivors include husband Jason Bishop and two
children.
