What is the best antenna I can buy for recieving 46-49 mhz frequency range? Preferrably an outdoor antenna. Also what would the best amplifier be for that range?
Firematically yours,
Dan Andrews

Antennas
I use a Maxrad antenna for any reception. They are about a 5 foot antenna that can be mounted right onto your vent pipe on your roof.

VHF LoBand Antenna
I see your post is rather dated..but if you haven't made the choice of an antenna yet........check out the Antenna Specialists website.
I'm not making a recommendation...just giving you an option.
