Damn I need a beer. I just got done with a 37.5 hour shift. We stayed fairly busy.
On the way to the main station this morning, I creamed an owl with the truck. The poor mofo flew right out in front of me and hit the windshield. No one was available to come pick it up, and it was in pretty bad shape so we left it to die (it's illegal to kill a bird of prey you know). We came back to our station later this morning, and on the way we found it sitting up and trying to get flying again. My partner and I took it to the emergency animal hospital after we got off. The damn bird attacked me and tore up my hand when we tried to take it inside the hospital.
