I'll be back in the 'area' sometime mid Feb for the weekend (family visits) and pretty much every three months after that.

The "Market" was a great load of fun. We pretty much polished the bar with our sleeves in the Heart and Crown... or was that the Black Rose or...? LOL There are FIVE pubs in one building, all interconnected - that was almost too much to handle. Had a wee crack at the Dubliner too.

I stayed in the Quality Inn, and took class from the Constitution Building (not sure if the name is because thats where the finance training is done or because of the number of pubs available heheeehehe) The intersection for that last MVA is Rideau and King Edward streets. We were told that it is the most dangerous intersection in all of the Ottawa area. There were 5 traffic related events reported in that area over the past 10 days alone! Two that were very serious. Apparently Ottawa Stn 13 isnt too far from there either. Ahh well I am home again, and in a MUCH WARMER climate WOOOHOOOO
Make sure you give notice that you're coming and I'll PM you a number
I'm not much of a pub crawler though LOL.

I know that intersection very well and it definately makes the top ten for collisions.
I also know the Constitution building well. I was in the Canadian Military for 15 years and spent 5 years in NDHQ Ottawa.
Good luck recovering from "Byward Market OD"

Drinks are up: Guinness, a white wine for the Lady and there 2 guys at the end of the bar: Sam Adams and Captain Morgan. Who'd have thought they did public appearances? They must have heard about our infamous hot tub parties

    "Lou" where's the music?

Hello? Anyone in the pub? I haven't been home (oops!) I mean, in the pub...in a few days. Too busy.

It's just after midnight and this place should be hopping? Oh well...another bourbon for me and I'll make my own party...good thing I enjoy my own company!

I've had a wee too much to get into the hotbut (did I just say hot butt???) I mean, hottub....dang dyslexia, it seems to be a midnight hour disease for me!!!

I better to get bed before I say more than I should!!!

Jorie, since Rook's massage is over, can I have one now??

Well, hey Rook!!! Didn't see you in the corner...how you doing? Can you introduce me to Sam? He looks awfully cute from where I'm sitting, but to be honest, that's not saying much, I'm feeling rather goofy tonight! Just tell him my name's Fredrika!

Dave, tried to send a pm, but you're "not on the list" LOL

Say: is it too early for a pint? It must be "noon" somewhere in the world LOL

Well the "Battle of the Leaves" is complete. I just spent the last 4hrs raking my yard. Now there are two huge piles like gate posts on either side of the drive. Time for a Miller or FOUR LOL. Have to do a beer run first though I think......

27-How was the beer run? Remember, the "battle of the leaves" is never over I'm up for a few drinks, anyone else? Man, with my work schedule as of late, I feel like Jorie being a night owl.

Actually the beer run never happened. As it turned out I still had 4 Molson CANADIAN's in the fridge. That did the trick for sure.

27-A Canadian beer will beat a Miller any day of the week.
After today, between painting ID's on 28 lengths of 5" hose and then packing them on the trucks, and dealing with what comes from the first real snowfall of the year (wires, down minor MVC's) I need a few drinks and a nice soak in the hot tub with a massage.
