Well, I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. I ended up working a 24 shift on Christmas Eve, then a 16 shift today. I am off until 4 tomorrow, so let's drink up! I need to catch up...but no moose, mouse, goose, badger, whatever milk for me...

Yep, the Tummy Thief absconded with it over night. He left the empty behind though, rotten bugger!

So now its on to a wee dram of Virginia Gentleman Bourbon, which for some reason is distilled in KY. Go figure eh?

I'll take anything at this point...especially after last night. We had warm temps (40's) yesterday with rain...once the sun set, so did the temps. Got called for a MVC, while enroute, after taking a corner, going only 15mph, we spun the rig 180 degrees (my partner was driving) when we hit a BIG patch of black ice. I looked over to see a telephone pole heading right towards my A post....luckily we missed that by a foot, but took down a "No Parking" sign. Another lucky thing...there was ice buld up against the curb, acting as a "ramp". if that wasn't there, the rig would have flipped (van style, not box rigs)since we hit the curb area broad side. Thankfully neither of us were hurt, the rig sustained minor damage from the sign on the right front fender. Have I mentioned I HATE WINTER? It's amazing that a vehicle can spin out like that going that slow...

    Welcome Back, Weruj1!!!

Of course, we have that particular ale; we keep it for our most discerning customers

Santa brought me clothes and "stuff" for my travel trailer.

Am I the only one still drinkin'??

Since there's a few email notifications for After Hours, I decided it was either post here or get all bent out of shape and speak my mind on the Houston fire thread

I don't know whether I should cry or scream in anger/disbelief.

So I'm listening to tunes as I'm having a snack before I call it a night and thought I'd pop in to see if anyone was still around.

Did I mention the tunes are really goofy old tunes that I'd be embarrassed to get caught listening to?

Hey Pub Pals!! Can I get a hot toddie (sp?) over here? I brought back a great present from my mom...bronchitis, cold, flu...whatever I have. Can't seem to shake it.

You're up late, Calgary! I should have joined you since I didn't sleep a wink.

27, Rook....is that Papoose Milk all gone now?

Leuit....did you say how you did on the test???? Are you a medic???

What are ya'lls plans for ringing in the new year?

The Moose Milk is long gone leaving only hazy memories in it's wake

My daughter can sympathize with your illness (whe she wakes up, that is); she just had all of her Wisdom teeth extracted. Poor little muffin won't be feeling that great when the meds wear off

I think Weruj1 is floating around the forums somewhere, too. I just took the dust cover off his stool, I think he should be popping in tonight.
