My computer is having issues with the internet this morning. I wonder if I can download a cup of coffee into the hard drive to speed it up?

Just pour a bit of quicksilver into the drive and watch it go.

I'm not much of a Scotch fan, except for the tape.. I've had some imported scotch, and it was just a tad bit sour, and extra dry. I prefer the mellow, smooth liabations of North American creation. I used to be a beer drinker, but since have defaulted more towards burbon and wine. Not so much wine, though. Just a little gives me a terrible headache..

If it's guys night out, we usually go to Legs Gold or Legs Platinum in West Virginia. Worth looking into if you are in the area.

RHV, not trying to put eggs on your plate or anything, but the only GOOD Scotch is imported, from Scotland. Unfortunately there are about 100 different flavours and labels, so I can understand your thoughts. But I will guarantee that once you've had the good stuff, you'll never go back.

Here I sit, all broken hearted.
    The fish did bite,
    but has now departed.

    I cast again,
    to my fishy freind,
but to no avail, did not prevail.

He swam right by, without a glance,
didn't even give me a second chance.

    Unrelenting, as I can be,
I opened the storage box to see.

My special bait that is the best.
Wrapped up in the paper vest.

TNT with a ten second fuse,
with this cast, I cannot lose.

A strike of the match, and the time starts.
Just a few more seconds until the bait departs.

Then on the shore, a familar sight.
A man with a badge that shines bright.

A struggle to hide my special bait,
Time draws short, and it won't wait.

So I cast my bait in front of my friend.
An explosion followed at the end of ten.

The irate smile was easy to see.
My new friend was mad at me.

So to the box, I went again.
I pulled out a new bait for him.

Striking the match brought a new look.
Confusion followed as he wrote in his book.

Up on the bank, I tossed the bait.
    My new friend couldn't wait.

    A quick picture I clicked,
    as my bait he flicked.

His cussing and swearing was such fun.
For now I had proof of what he had done!

Whatever you do, don't use the brush to wash out the glasses. I think somebody may have gotten it out of the restrooms as a joke. eeewww..

New use for beer cans? Only in Chicago, eh? LOL

Man's Beer-Can Coffin Is Dead-On. Coffin Custom-Made To Look Like Pabst Can

    POSTED: 11:16 am EDT May 6, 2008
    UPDATED: 11:29 am EDT May 6, 2008

SOUTH CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill. -- Bill Bramanti will eternally love Pabst Blue Ribbon, and he's got the custom-made beer-can casket to prove it.

The suburban Chicago man threw a party over the weekend for friends and showed off his silver coffin.

It's designed in Pabst's colors of red, white and blue and filled with ice and his favorite brew.

"Why put such a great novelty piece up on a shelf in storage when you could use it only the way Bill Bramanti would use it?" his daughter said.

....white socks, rednecks, and blue ribbon beer...

I don't remember much of the song, but part of it trys to come out..

A local VFW club donated a weekend's worth of aluminum cans to my Boy Scout troop years ago. After being around that smell, I don't think I'd want to be buried in a beer can. I had to wash the back of my pickup truck out after that run.. Good thing I didn't get stopped by the MAN. If I would've had to walk the line past the tailgate, I'd probably failed because of the aroma. Everything was good as long as we didn't stop, and kept going forward..

Honest!!! I really do drink hot tea sometimes, especially when I'm not feeling top-notch. Between work, a trip up home and some really crappy weather, tea is just the perfect thing right now.

I'll have a cup of tea too please, white and one sugar thanks. I was going to order something stronger but need to be good. I had my first coffee from a Starbucks today. And it'll be the last - too expensive and no taste. Dishwater.

Well, I guess it is ok to have some tea... Want a cookie? How about some cold milk?

p.s. Don't eat the peanuts off the floor. There is a reason they are on the floor.

Is it a Russian tea cookie or maybe some baklava?

    Breaking news story from Illinois...

14 tons of spilled Oreo cookies snarl Illinois traffic
    Associated Press
    MORRIS, Ill. -- Got milk?

Police say a trailer loaded with 14 tons of double-stuffed Oreos has overturned, spilling the cookies still in their plastic sleeves into the median and roadway.

Illinois State Police Sgt. Brian Mahoney says the truck's driver was traveling from Chicago to Morris on Interstate 80 around 4 a.m. Monday when he fell asleep at the wheel and slammed into the median.

"The boxes came out of the trailer and boxes were ripped open," he said.

The crash about 50 miles southwest of Chicago remains under investigation.

Mahoney says no charges have been filed but both lanes of traffic remain closed while authorities remove the cookies.

Ya'll know what this means.....ROAD TRIP!!! I'll drive!!!
