Just got back from a releif trip to Gulfport, MS. Snapped some pictures of E1, E2, E3, R3 and some command units catching a job next to where I was working one day.

I can't believe how bad it is there. You would have to see to know. I'm about to start a major project to assist the firefighters of the Mississippi gulf coast.

For me thats not really the problem. Just been so darn busy with EMT classes during the week, and between visitors from Dee-Troit

and Embassy or FD functions.....

But that will change slightly this weekend. Starting with a visit to Sine's on Friday.

Sitting in the Pub, sulking 'cause I'm not in Fire School this weekend and I used the last of my vacation to be sure I would be able to get there. What a waste

I'd be here, but I just got off of work and have a 24 hour shift at the paid/volly ambulance gig tomorrow 6a-6a, then a 24 hour shift 8a-8a sun into mon at the full time gig...and the week just gets better from there...I'll be able to drink sometime around thurs at 8:01PM...see ya'll then...

Hey Guys 'n Gals. Just about to head out the door to Sine's again (pronounced Shynaye - LOL) to partake of a milestone.... 38 years and holding as of today. Gonna go chase a few pints of the O'le Nectar of the Gods.

The day can't be all bad: the County saw fit to issue me with my suppression gear this morning as a Bday prezzy eheheheehe.

Thanks guys. Just got home from the most horrendous train ride home. Get to the first stn (have to ride 2 trains) and just miss my first connection. Ok thats fine, next one is in 6 min, but its on a different line - which is no problem.. just means a few extra stops is all, to make the right connection.

"Ya Right" he says. Get to the intermediate station, jump off and await my "real" train. Only to hear that there is a problem with the AMTRAK train, and because its blocking one of the main lines, all trains are held up. Anyhow, 45 minutes late, I finally get home.

Aside from the ride home, all was very well. Got to share a few with friends, and that, in the end is what really counts. Even got a page (from the Station website LOL) to say "Happy Birthday", AND an email notifyer as well. Guinness, a few shots of Scotch..... What more could a guy ask for.... well ...... ok... maybe .... (thats better left unsaid LOL)

At any rate, happy birthday.

Had some fun yesterday. Went out to the National Forest to do some shooting at the range. Got to shoot several different weapons. Also went to the Leon County Sheriff's helicopter base to see what they had to play with.

Geeze, I was starting to think I was going to get fired for scaring all the paying customers away. It's been so slow I painted the joint and put graffiti in the ladies room just to liven the place up.
