maybe they mean it's a popular thread or well liked? I dun~know.

Not sure what I'm in the mood to drink. Any suggestions?

On Friday I went to this bar called Margarita Grill. They have a 64 ounce margarite....takes two hands to carry it. Then they also have a 32 ounce and an 8 ounce one. You can only buy one of the large ones in a night. They also have other drinks. I bought the first round. We got two of the 32 ounce drinks, a draft, a bottle and a bourbon and ginger ale (for me).....The entire round was $9.50!!!!

We stayed and had dinner. I had shrimp and she had some kind of crab plus another 32 ounce drink. I had at least 4 or 5 more bourbons. My bill was less than $60.00 before the tip!

The guy who owns it is from NY and had relative in the WTC on 09-11. Every Friday and Saturday Night they have a ceremony that begins with the owner (who is an american citizen but of foriegen decent) making an announcement. He says....is is my restaurant and we are going to have a patriotic ceremony. If this offends you then please leave my restaurant by way of the closest exit.! Then everyone is given an American Flag and a slide show plays to patriotic music. It shows firefighters from FDNY and OKC as well as soldiers and slides from afghanistan and iraq. It is awesome....I told him the only thing missing was the use of Toby Kieth's "Angry American." He said...."maybe I can fit it in!"

Apparently Congresswoman Brown-Waite has even discussed this restaurant on the floor of Congress.

thump the rookie...not quite sure what that involves..and almost afraid to ask...notice how I said ALMOST...

As for kareoke Rookie, I hope you have a better voice than most of the singers on fri nights do at the bar I work at...some nights I leave there feeling like my ears are bleeding.

This Margarita Grill sounds good; too far I live so far away. Of course, I do consider this Pub my second home

Im stuck way up here in the cold. 2 weeks in Boston area
on a business trip. I sure could use a drink preferably
sitting on the deck at Poseys on a warm sunday eve at
sunset. (great little place part biker bar part college
crowd part average joe sitting over the water where
the St. Marks inlet meets the gulf. Beautifull sunsets)
