This poor little thread was the last one listed...so I decided to save it.
    Stayback.

It has been saved. Well and truly saved. In fact it has been saved to death.

Now where did I put that heavy duty stop sign?

whos starting the Hog's and Heffer's trend of hanging undergarmanets on the wall?
I'll start it; I think I have a pair of maternity gitch around here somewhere...

Flaming sambuca's bring back memories of a friend's wedding...ending with having to drag myself up 3 flights of stairs to get back to my apt. That was about 14 yrs ago and my head still hurts.
I think I'll go with some sourpuss please...leave the bottle willya?

Security! Where's security??? Will some please escort this young lady to the door? We'll have none of that in here!

Now. I need a drink. I broke my frickin glasses and had to tape them back together. Good thing my income tax check is coming soon. I'd been planning on buying some new eyes when the money gets here, but now I don't have a choice.

Looking for volunteers to be my security...apparently 1219 is paying

What kind of bloomers were you requiring for this wall? You never specified.

And I like that tape on your glasses 1219. It makes you look so...so...well, words fail me.

Jorie: BS is starting any time now. You wouldn't believe what I'll be packing for the game...

Sorry babe, but you got to earn my panties for the wall. Maybe if the bs game turns against me.

Stan you in for the game with me and Rookie?

1219 do you need another nap?

Yet we were concerned this wouldn't reach page 10. What is it now page 33?

Jeremy's Ale House (gone but not forgotten!) in the Seaport district of Manhattan had it's own IACOJ corner. A certain "crustette" left a brassiere autographed by the "crusties in residence" that day and Sub16Green left a FBU "Fair Pay for the Fire Service" flag.

    PS: What's an undergarmanet? LOL

    Gonzo,
Is Jeremy's still there? I hadn't heard that they closed. I'm riding for a week with FDNY EMS in April, and will be down there for my b-day. My cousins are comming in from Long Island to go out with us and I thought Jeremy's would be a good place. for 1, it's known for Fire, EMS people there, and 2 it's my namesake.

Sing it RookieLZ.... Shania is my favorite.....in fact I went to see her in concert twice in one week a few years back! When she was here recently I bought tickets and then while I was on the way to the show I heard they had more floor tickets and I went to the window and got seats in row 5.... Sold my other tickets outside.....!

She wrote that song "I'm having a party" for me. I was just unable to get the time off to be in the video!

PS...I did not realize you worked in a Nursing Home.... I do not envy you at all...in fact...I would be forced to drink on the job if I worked in one!

I think I read that in an interview that Shania did; she said it was unfortunate and that she would try again for the next video

I recommend not screaming "CRUNCH, CRUNCH!" at 'em, while teaching. My father did that when we were in an empty parking lot. Had no idea what he was yelling about and freaked me out. I drove into the curb, and he threw the emergency brake on.~Hadn't known that he would play jokes with me during the first few lessons. Well we "crunched" the curb. I stay a good distance from curbs now. Got to learn something from every experience, either good, bad, stupid or just funny.

Actually, my young driver is doing reasonably doing well.
All I need is a neck brace...
I haven't freaked yet. The highlight of our trip today was pulling over for a L&S ambulance. She got the truck stuck (slightly) leading to the lesson "how to rock your truck and get it out of the snowbank" coupled with "don't freak; just gently pull over to the right and stop without giving Mother whiplash."
FATHER waits with bated breath to find out how everything went. I always had figured that driving instruction was going to be his parenting skill contribution. I guess I done figured wrong
The good news is that my Chief is also the local tow truck driver. I hope he laughs instead of charging us should the occasion arise. Two of his sons are in my daughter's class and I haven't seen them driving around yet. Could he be chicken?? NAAAAHHH--not my Chief!

The only songs I can think of are Route 66 and Black Cars (Look better in the Shade)

So what is the appropriate drink for this occasion?

    How about "Highway to Hell"?

Wouldn't the Irish car bomb be the appropriate drink? Someone help me out on this one.
